Incredible as it may seem, contemporary music can be beautiful!
The concert will feature works by contemporary Hungarian composers such as Levente Gyöngyösi, Péter Tóth, Barna Szabó, Rezső Ott, Bence Kutrik, György Orbán and Balázs D. Kecskés.The concert is interesting because, among other things, it is the first time that so many contemporary Hungarian works have been performed in a similar form in Hungary by the Cantemus Choir in Dunabogdány six months ago. It is rare to hear so many contemporary choral works in a live concert. In terms of its theme, you can hear a wave of religious and secular stories, feelings and moods set to music, wrapped in a special atmosphere. Very interesting , logical, yet seemingly unpredictable and random movements change harmonies, while the inner voices glow in dense waves. At once endless and motionless, the music swarms and moves within.
Contemporary Hungarian composers have been outstanding, attracting the attention of the profession not only in Hungary. The concert is also interesting because the composers will be present in person, listening with interest to the performances of the Cantemus family choirs!
